Mmmm – thanks for all of your favorite soup ideas! I’ve never had Split Pea soup before, or gazpacho. I’m thinkin’ those might be next, if I can ever stop craving the Butternut and Acorn Squash Soup. 
My roommate has been getting packages left and right the past couple of weeks. So when I saw a huge package on the table last week, I assumed it was hers. She didn’t open it all week, and when I went to look closer at the label, it was MY name on the package! I swear, I don’t think getting a package will ever get old. (TWSS).
What was in this package?
The crock pot that I won in the BSI contest a few weeks ago! The incredibly sweet Emily was so generous. Thank you so much, Em! (I really did feel bad for stealingborrowing my mom’s crock pot for so long).
It was actually perfect timing, as I was planning on Sunday to make Stephanie’s White Chicken Chili.
omg – this was SO good!!!
Sorry for the crappy pic, but you’ll have to take my word for it. My roommate actually thought it smelled good and made some for herself, too. (P.S. the green stuff is cilantro….I could eat the stuff by the bundle).
This chili was not only wonderful, but seriously kept me full at night long. I wasn’t even hungry for dessert, and I can’t tell you the last time that’s happened. 
A Christmas miracle?!
