It Had Me at Hello

I finally got around to trying the last two flavors of Chobani that they had so graciously sent me!

First up….honey.

001Now, I’m normally not a huge honey fan.  In fact, I didn’t even try honey (that I can remember) until a year or two ago!  We just didn’t grow up with it around, for some reason.

I HAVE tried honey yogurt before, however, and liked it.  This was no different!  Now, I am getting a wee bit of a cold so my taste isn’t 100% accurate, but it kind of reminded me of the vanilla flavor.

I was almost GIDDY with excitement to try the pineapple.

004
Oh.my.goodness.  This was heaven!  I mean, I would seriously almost choose this over ice cream, folks, it is THAT good!  I am asking the manager at my store to carry at LEAST this flavor alone.  I’ve NEVER asked a manager to carry an item, so that says a lot.

Thank you again, Shari, for letting me try all of the wonderful new flavors!

What’s your favorite flavored yogurt, if you’re a yogurt person?  Mine is usually strawberry, but this pineapple had me at "hello."

  1. The pineapple is the best one ever! I went to a grocery store near my office the other day and decided to browse in the organic yogurt section and there was a sign for pineapple chobani but they were all out. But I think they must carry it!

  2. I haven’t eaten yogurt in awhile, but I always liked Lemon flavored Yoplait. It was hard to find, though, so it was always a treat.

I looked for Chobani at our grocery store. No dice. I admit I’m a little scared to try more Greek style yogurt since the last stuff I had tasted too much like sour cream for me to eat it on anything but things that need sour cream. But I think I’d willing try some of these flavored ones…Now I just need to find them. Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s here I come!

  3. strawberry if i could eat it! wahhhhhh

  4. YUM! I wish I could find the pineapple one near me! I finally got my hands on the pomegranate one, SO GOOD! But I’m thinking pineapple would be even better! I’ ma big fan of the vanilla one with fresh blueberries tossed in, I like it better than the blueberry flavored one, it’s less sweet. I love ‘em all though. MMM.

  5. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I’m so glad you love Les Mills! Wahooo! The classes are just addicting :)

Isn’t the pineapple so yummy? Josh and I can’t get enough of it. Its totally my favorite yogurt ever

  6. The honey didn’t really impress me, but the pineapple – totally different story!!! SO AMAZING, right?!! It’s more of a decadent dessert than a yogurt… omg! I need to find them in stores!!!!!!

  7. I definitely love pineapple yogurt. I also like strawberry and any “unusual flavor” (i.e. not peach or blueberry).

  8. i haven’t tried either of those yogurts yet, i should get on that! i love honey in my greek yogurt, might as well let someone else do the work for me :)
