First of all, I want to thank you ALL for the feedback on heart rate monitors! I’m definitely going with Polar, but if I do get back to running I’d be interested in a Garmin. But I’ll cross that bridge when/if I get there.
I will let you know what I decide!

I don’t put anything in my yogurt, i eat it straight up. One strange thing about my taste for yogurt: i hate it cold. I always let it sit out for a few hours so it can get to room temperature.
I like to add honey to my Oikos or add dark chocolate flavored almonds.

I usually eat yogurt mixed with walnuts or granola…when I lived in Europe I had it with corn flakes and strawberries because the first time I tried to buy milk, I ended up with half-and-half because I couldn’t read the label…so, I improvised for breakfast and discovered it was actually a really tasty alternative.
And you were already in my Google reader!

I eat mine either plain or with granola. Orrr I make parfaits!
Yes- I did blend the soup with my immersion blender, but you could use a regular blender too. One commenter said she cooks her split peas long enough so she can just stir it and not need to blend!

I like to mix mine with berries and granola or add it to bowl of oats for extra creaminess. Also a great substitute for sour cream on tacos and quesadillas.
